The Sabina area which extends from the banks of the Tiber to the Sabina mountains  is famous for its olive oil. The region's hilly landscape with its oak forests, small villages, castles and monasteries  is rich with the heritage of its historical past and well-preserved.



The famous medieval villages of Orvieto and Rieti are within a short drive.
In the village of Farfa, 5km from Catino, is a 7th century abbey.

By train : Take the line airport-Orte or the metro service from Fiumicino Airport (Poggio Mirteto Scala)
