Situated at approximately 45 km, south west of Bologna, in the beautiful Appennines, surrounded by oak trees and chestnut groves. It is set in a breathtaking setting amongst a vast vegetation of a thousand colours and shades that surround this beautiful  building.



Casa Rugiada was completed in December 1985 and since then has been a family run restaurant, although it could be a family villa if required.



The vast main dining area is suitable for all occasions such as weddings, christenings and birthday parties and the downstairs tavern is perfect for the more intimate occasions.



Casa Rugiada consists of 3 floors, the lower ground floor with the tavern, billiard room, 2 public facilities, large storage rooms and pantries, laundry room and adjacent garage. The ground floor holds the magnificent restaurant rooms divided into 3 separate areas. The main restaurant, where the pizza oven is located, can hold up to 220 people. The second restaurant area can hold up to 25 people and also incorporates a large bar area. The smaller, more private dining area, can hold 25 people . The last 2 areas both have their own fire place. All floors are
laid in terracotta tiles.



The immense kitchen on the same floor offers all necessary equipment to offer a fully functional service. There are another 2 public facilities located between the lower and ground floor. On the ground floor there is also a fully covered external terrace which runs along two sides of the second restaurant, typically suitable for dining al fresco on warm summer evenings. Between the ground floor and the first floor there is an office.



On the first floor you will find the private quarters of the owner and his family consisting of 4 double bedrooms ( 2 en-suite . bathroom lounge and kitchen with dining area.



Throughout Casa Rugiada's internal aspect you will find the warmth of wooden beams and fixtures  enriched with the traditional stone of this area.



Although Casa Rugiada is presently functional as a restaurant the property is very versatile and could be used for a large variety of purposes such as private apartments, a well-being centre or residential home. The property is surrounded by a beautifully stocked and well-maintained terraced garden.



The land has an area of 5,169 sqm and the internal floor area is 1,050 sqm. Its large car park can hold up to 35 cars.



Casa Rugiada is approximately 90 km. from Florence and approximately 130 km from Venice making it an ideal base from which to tour Italy.
